Concern over a line on the edge of my plasma TV?
I recently bought a TV plasma. I plugged it with Cogeco Digital Cable (HD), and a surround sound system. When watching DVDs that do not meet the screen, or some digital cable channels, there is a line, either on top or right of the screen (where the image ends). This is annoying when watching a movie, and I'm curious to know if there is a way to fix this. The line is pink or white, and is part of the real image, it is dashes (- – - – - – -) and extends across the entire image.
Is the line going away if you use a different aspect mode? If yes, then it looks like a problem of under-TV. Something very easy to fix using the service menu. Call technical support and they will make an adjustment minor.
